SYIL R1 - What's inside this pre-packaged solution?

The R1 cell is designed to automate repetitive tasks associated with machine tending, such as loading and unloading parts into CNC machines. The robot autonomously retrieves parts from the flat table, loads them into the machine, removes the finished part, and places it on the flat table again, or on any other outfeed mechanism.

The R1 package includes:

  • Compact frame, with a flat table for handling materials
  • KUKA robot arm
  • robot tooling
  • additional workholding and dual gripper options available
  • the cell is prepared for plug-and-play integration with any SYIL Siemens machine
  • auto door (if R1 is purchased together with a SYIL machine)
