Clothing and Personal Safety
- Tie back long hair that could get caught in the undercarriage.
- Wear safety equipment (helmet, goggles, safety shoes, etc.) to ensure your safety.
- Always wear a helmet if there are obstacles at height in the work area.
- Always wear a protective mask when working with workpieces such as magnesium alloys or graphite.
- Never wear loose or baggy clothing.
- Always close buttons completely and tie the arms of clothing so that they do not get caught in rotating parts.
- Do not operate the machine if you are under the influence of drugs with a strong effect, non-prescribed medication or alcohol.
- Do not operate the machine if you feel faint or lose consciousness.
- Always use gloves when loading or unloading workpieces or tools and when removing crisps.
- Always use safety shoes with steel toecaps and oil-resistant soles.
All operations, maintenance and cleaning work must be carried out in the safest possible conditions by wearing protective clothing (see table).
Always follow the personal safety standards and laws of the country in which the machine is used.
