29 Storage (Clone)
29.1 Packed Machine
- Fix all loose parts and have the machine treated with a rust inhibitor
- Secure the machine firmly in the crate so that it cannot fall down
- Make sure to cover the machine with a waterproof cover to protect it from moisture or corrosive substances. This protects the mechanical and electrical parts from damage
- Add a moisture-inhibiting substance to the box
- Do not place the entire packaging directly under sunlight or near any other heat source
- Keep away from corrosive substances or devices that cause unusual vibrations
- The ambient temperature and humidity should be moderate and kept as constant and even as possible
29.2 Bare Machine
- Fix all loose parts
- Apply plenty of anti-corrosion agent to the exposed metal parts
- Lower the spindle to its lower limit and place it on a suitable wooden block
- Disconnect and remove the power cable
- Secure all sliding guards and doors so that they cannot move
- Apply a moisture-repellent substance to the control cabinet, control panel and all other machine housings
- Cover the machine with a suitable waterproof and dustproof film or cover. Moisture and dust can cause mechanical and electrical damage
- Do not place the machine in direct sunlight or in any other heat source
- Keep the machine away from corrosive substances or gases
- Avoid storing the machine in areas with low-frequency vibrations, which can cause the bearings to start up incorrectly
The ambient temperature and humidity should be moderate and kept as constant and uniform as possible
