The Challenge
OBSC Perfection, renowned for its expertise in precision metal parts for the automotive industry, was experiencing rapid growth in client demand for small, high-precision aluminum components. The company needed to significantly boost output while maintaining impeccable quality and efficiency—key requirements in the automotive supply chain. Existing equipment was reaching its limits in terms of scalability and cost-effectiveness, prompting the search for a solution that could deliver both high throughput and reliable precision without inflating operational expenses.
The Solution
Recognizing the need for advanced, scalable technology, OBSC Perfection evaluated several CNC milling solutions before selecting the SYIL X5 mini CNC mill. The decision was driven by SYIL’s reputation for compact, high-precision machines engineered for continuous operation, as well as the integration of a 16-pocket servo tool changer and a 20,000 rpm direct-coupled spindle. The intuitive Syntec control system further enhanced usability and process control. As Mr. Vibha, Partner at Coastal Corporation (India Distributor), noted: "We are delighted that they have chosen our CYLE X5 with a Syntec control for their new production line. And currently, six CYLE machines are in operation, 24 hours a day, six days a week. Over the next few months, a total of 45 CYLE X5 machines will be installed." OBSC Perfection began integrating SYIL X5 units into its new production lines, leveraging their automation capabilities to streamline workflows and maximize machine utilization.
The Results
Following the integration of SYIL X5 CNC machines, OBSC Perfection realized a transformative increase in production efficiency and reliability. With six machines now operating at 144 hours per week across four factory locations, the company has established a scalable, high-availability manufacturing environment. The planned rollout of 45 machines will further augment capacity, ensuring readiness for future demand spikes. This strategic investment has enabled OBSC Perfection to deliver high-quality aluminum parts at scale while maintaining cost controls and operational excellence.
